What does it look like in Derbyshire?

You may not ask that question, but I would as Derbyshire and Staffordshire are the English counties of my Bates ancestors.  

Microsoft is introducing a VR tour of the sea, earth and sky called HoloTours.  Sounds pretty fun!  Just put on the head gear, take a motion sickness pill and tour the world.  

Of course, Google Earth has given us a lower-tech experience on many devices for years and lit tours and use of historic overlays have been useful and entertaining us for years.  But the new Google Earth VR works through Steam.  We need to keep watch for more coverage.  Click above for a short tour.  More gizmos and more capacity will be coming down the pike.
